Dr. Jodi CooleyI grew up in Northern Michigan and began my academic career at Michigan State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. I continued my education at the Ohio State University earning a Master of Arts in Exercise Physiology and I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic at National College of Chiropractic (now known as National University of Health Sciences) in Lombard, Illinois. My interest in chiropractic began in graduate school when I severely injured my lower back and visited a chiropractor. I responded so well to treatment for my lower back complaint that I also received treatment for chronic neck pain caused by a car accident several years prior. I had lived with that chronic pain for so long it had become a part of me. I realized that I did not have to live with pain and chiropractic care became an integral part of my life. After exploring other careers, chiropractic seemed to be a natural fit with my desire to help people and my interest in muscles, joints, the skeletal system as well as wellness. I use my knowledge of fitness and exercise every day in practice, and have spent many years as an adjunct professor, teaching classes at Columbus State Community College and, more recently, at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, gardening and spending time at my Indian Lake cottage. Mission StatementMy staff and I strive to provide you and your family the most comprehensive chiropractic and rehabilitative care for optimal musculoskeletal health. My treatment is focused on the whole person and I believe that each patient has unique health care needs. Treatment plans are carefully crafted with your health care goals in mind. |
